Melbourne, Australia – December 2009 – Open Wave, a leading contact centre Workforce Management Solution Company, has announced that Engin has deployed its workforce management solution in its Sydney based contact centre.

Open Wave announced they have released the latest version of ShiftTrack WFM software - version 5.5.  The latest version of Open Wave’s ShiftTrack includes a number of customer and market-driven enhancements, significant performance improvements and new product capabilities including:

• Enhancements to Simulation.
• Enhanced Break Rules.
• Agents viewing own Leave History in ShiftTrack/Remote.
• More user-definable parameters have been added to streamline routine tasks.
• Compatibility for Microsoft’s Vista and Windows Server 2008 operating systems.

The 2009 Open Wave Australian User Forum Conference was held at the Novotel in Darling Harbour, Sydney on the 14^th May.  With over 100 delegates, the Open Wave User Forum represents one of the largest gatherings of resource planning experts in the Australian contact centre industry’s annual calendar. 

The Forum was used by Open Wave to demonstrate upcoming software releases and development, presentations and case studies that discussed some challenges and changes in the industry. Other popular sessions included case studies on agent analytics by Unisys and presentations on workforce optimisation, simulation and long term planning.
